Following is a poem written by one of our talented and annointed young people, Lawrence Wood. Lawrence cemented his position in Apostolic Tabernacle history when in testifying about his recent salvation, he excitedly proclaimed,"I caught the Ghost". He later followed it up with this inspirational poem:
It’s A Go with the Ghost
Everything’s a go w/ the Ghost
Believe what I tell you, the Lord always walks w/ you close
When the devil “sucka” punches you and goes below the belt
Lift your eyes to the hills; you know who brings your help
Restores you with your health
Delivers you from your hell
He forgave you a hundred times before you even got to fail
Died on the cross for you and me
For you to see
Truthfully how He works so beautifully
Praise GOD!! He didn’t keep you the way you used to be
Forgave you at the altar all b/c of the love of the FATHER
The ultimate everything
ALPHA and OMEGA
MY MASTER
MY FATHER
MY DOCTOR
MY LAWYER
Resurrected on the 3rd day like no other!
He taught me how to tell the enemy how to get thee behind me
The devil can’t confine me b/c JESUS got his eye on me
The one living GOD gave His body and His heart to bring me out the dark
The devil lies only serve one purpose
To get you to think inwardly and wickedly…………not worth it
The GOD of all comfort
Your provider and maker
Waited for us to come to him, showing the greatest of patience
Don’t get it mistaken still in the “bidness” of making miracles
Diseases……curable
Surgery……doable
Drugs and alcohol, He’ll make you say “I’ll wanna fool w/ you”
But He’s not through w/you; let Him finish His great work
For what is worth I love to boast on the most high and upmost
I hope you heard what I told you EVERYTHING’S A GO W/ THE GHOST!
