Apostolic Tabernacle Responds
The church body of Apostolic Tabernacle has responded tremendously to the call to assist our brothers and sisters. The donations of food, clothes, money, and other items continue to arrive. There has been a volunteer staff at the church in addition to the church staff to help accommodate the phone calls and walk-in requests for assistance.
The volunteer staff has been faithful everyday including Labor Day. We would like to thank the Windle family, Sis. Shumway, Hamilton, Conrad, Moore, Pope, Ridley, Cannon, and Bro. Howard Lanier for their tireless efforts.
We would also like to thank Bro. David and Sis. Mercy Handy for barbecuing on Labor Day for many of the displaced people. It is in times like these that the true character of great people become evident, and it is our prayer and belief that God will recognize and reward every sacrifice.
